scheitern.dreitausend are an indie rock band from the ‘Bremen School’, as the first ones are starting to say. They make loud-quiet rock music about getting older and being sad about it, about being stuck at home and being sad about it and about not belonging and being sad about it. The scratchy guitar is still as necessary as it was since the 90s. You want to sing along everywhere, you want to have big feelings, you want to let distortion blow your head dry, and then feedback squeaks into your ear canal and suddenly it’s as loud outside as it feels inside.
